The sum of all the even number 1 to 100 can be found by using the formula, S = n(n + 1), where n is the total number of even number from 1 to 100.

There are a total of 50 even number, so n = 50. Therefore, by substituting the value of n = 50, we get,

S = 50(50 + 1)

S = 50 × 51

S = 2550
