What is the 1 Times Table?

The 1 times table is a chart that lists all the numbers which are a product of that number with 1, also known as multiples of 1.

Solution : The third multiple of 1 is 3

Twice the third multiple is 2 × 3 = 6

Two more than twice the third multiple = 2 + 6 = 8

Example 2. What will be the number obtained when 1 is added 10 times?

Solution : 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 = 1 × 10 = 10

Therefore, the number will be 10.

Example 3. In a class of 50 students, each student is given 1 chocolate. How many chocolates were distributed in total?

Solution : Total number of students in class = 50

Each student is given one chocolate.

Total number of chocolates distributed = 1 × 50 = 50
